First Advanced workshop in Reconstructive Surgery – Harare – Zimbabwe
Within the framework of the training courses organized in Africa with the support of Swiss Division for Development and Cooperation, 2nd Chance organized in close collaboration with the Department of Surgery, College of Health Sciences of the University of Zimbabwe, the first advanced workshop of surgery reconstructive from 7 till 10 April 2014.
The week was opened by his Excellence the Minister of Health Dr. David Parirenyatwa. The surgical team operated 16 patients of whom a dozen children suffering after-effects of burns, congenital deformities or from crippling diseases.
Some fifteen African surgeons from 7 different countries attended this week which rich in experience sharing.
