2ND CHANCE is a Swiss non-profit organization that aims to develop reconstructive surgery in low and middle-income regions as well as in post-war contexts.
In order to truly help local populations, it is paramount to no only operate and teach at a local level but to also create lasting governmental partnerships that will allow this work to continue far into the future.
I truly welcome 2nd Chance Association’s efforts to expand the level of surgical expertise here in Tanzania. Not only are they helping today but are helping to educate East Africa’s future surgeons.
Putting patients first and training more surgeons, 2nd chance really builds the future of Africa in the field of plastic surgery. I’m very grateful and wish a long life to this partnership
