2nd Chance signes a cooperation agreement with COSECSA

On 27 August 2014, Prof. Pakaj G. Jani, Secretary General of the College of Surgeons of East Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA) and Mrs Anne Zeidan, on behalf of Dr P. Quinodoz, President of 2nd Chance signed a Memorandum of Understanding concerning the provision of surgical training in reconstructive surgery in the region.
COSECSA is an independent body that fosters postgraduate education in surgery and provides surgical training throughout the region. It operates in 10 countries in the sub-Saharan region: Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe many of these countries 2nd Chance has been providing workshops.
The MoU aims at developing reconstructive surgery training in the region and foster advance education, training, standards, research & practice in surgical care in this region.
